Byung-Ro Lee, CPA took over the position of chief executive officer from former CEO, Cheol-Sik Kim as of October 28, 2009.

Shinwon Accounting Corporation hosted the 2009 Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Seoul Plaza Hotel from 19th to 22nd, April 2009. Despite tough economic conditions, 31 delegates from a substantial representation of countries in our region and others from as far as Germany with their accompanying persons attended the meeting. The conference was very successful in promoting friendship and networking among members. Mr. Raymond Strothman, board chairman in North America and Mr. Roberto Zesati, international board chairman attended.

Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2005 was held in New Delhi, India including Regional Board Meeting from April 21 to 24, 2005. Mr. CS Kim, partner of international affairs and Mr. SW Oh, director attended the meeting. Some technical issues on International Accounting and Auditing Standards, Business Environment in India by Foreigners, Business Process Outrsourcing, etc. were presented and discussed. As a second attendance in the Asia Pacific Regional Conferrence, our delegates promoted enhanced cooperation system with abroad partners, Non-Korean Accounting Corporations.
